The TomTom GO 920 measures only 3.3 inches by 4.6 inches and is 0.9 inches deep. It would easily fit into your pocket or purse and weighs only 7.8 ounces. It packs in a pretty big 4.3″ widescreen for such a small device and has a Lithium Polymer battery that can last around 5 hours before needing to be charged.

Most GPS systems these days have a very comprehensive list of POIs, but the GO 300 is one of the few units we’ve reviewed that lets users define their own categories (several Garmin models, including the 2720 and the i3, let you define custom POIs, but you have to use Garmin’s categories).

On screen and everything is laid out clearly. Maps are clear to read either in 2D or 3D views and instructions just as simple. GPS stats like distance to go, distance covered, speed, direction, and satellite signal are customisable and you can even get rough (and we mean rough) ETA from the device.
