Jensen Vm9312 Review
Jensen’s MediaLink3 puts important external connection ports within easy reach. The interface mounts in a convenient spot, like under your dash or in a storage area, and provides connections for Jensen’s optional iPod® adapter, a mini-jack auxiliary input, and an external video source, like a gaming console or a video camera.

crutchfield Reviewed the Jensen Vm9312 and gave out”The built-in amplifier will bring out the best in your car’s speakers, while the audio processor lets you compensate for your car’s acoustics. If you’re building a full system, connect external amps to the front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs for even bigger sound from your movies and music. You can add an XM radio to access more than 150 channels of satellite radio entertainment. For added safety, Jensen includes a port for an optional rear-view camera.”

Jensen Vm9312 Review
the VM9312 has an impressive range of audio-tweaking features. In addition to individual settings for standard EQ levels (including bass and treble), the system features dynamic range control (for enhanced playback at lower volumes)

CNET Reviewed the Jensen Vm9312 and gave out”*The good: The Jensen VM9312 features a wonderfully responsive touch screen, a useful iPod interface, and crisp video playback.*—The bad: A slow processor means that drivers can find themselves waiting for sources to change over, and the system lacks a quick means of navigating digital audio libraries.*—The bottom line: The Jensen VM9312 is a capable in-car multimedia device. For those looking to play digital audio and video on the road, this system is a good value for the money.”

Jensen NVX227 Review
The overall design of the system is to have the GPS unit itself snap into a windshield mount saddle that cups and hold the unit.

jensen-nvx227.jpg

gpslodge Reviewed the Jensen NVX227 and gave out”After driving for a couple of weeks with the Jensen NVX227, I came to appreciate the type ahead features that the unit offered. It makes quick work of inputting your address that you are going to route to. I would like more GPS units to have this feature. The mount is rougher to get set, and vibrates slightly when driving, but once mounted, it’s not an issue to leave it there. If you are going to be taking it on and off a lot to avoid GPS thefts, this isn’t the best experience. The screen brightness will only be a concern in the brightest conditions, and nicely enough, the unit flips from day to night settings at a decent hour. The interface is good and on par with other units that use the iGo software.”

The NVX225 can calculate directions by fastest, shortest, or most economical route and with or without toll roads, ferry ways, U-turns, and so forth. There are also different settings for different modes of transport, including car, bus, bicycle, and pedestrian mode.

jensen-nvx-225.jpg

Cnet Reviewed the Jensen NVX225 and gave out”The good: The Jensen NVX225 in-car GPS device is affordably priced and offers text- and voice-guided directions and other basic navigation tools.*—–The bad: The NVX225’s interface and overall user experience isn’t as smooth as competing products, and it lacks text-to-speech functionality. The points-of-interest database is also out of date.*—–The bottom line: As an entry-level GPS device, the Jensen NVX225 offers all the basics at an affordable price tag, but you can get a better user experience and more from the Mio C230 or Garmin Nuvi 200.”
