I bought this unit after shopping around for an entry-level GPS. I had seen this particular item in the UK (where it is extremely popular) and knew ViaMichelin were finally about to release a US version. The map view is fairly simple. At the bottom of the screen, there are large icons for the Main Menu and Navigation Actions. Above that the current street name is displayed along with the number of satellites currently tracked. Plus and minus icons let you zoom in and out.
